Al-fresco 'Painting' Party
Al fresco party for up to 6 people (1-2 hours).
South West London only: TW1, TW2,TW9, TW10, TW11, TW12
Relax and enjoy painting your designs onto elegant, functional pre-made ceramic bisqueware. All the items - cups, bowls, plates and vases are hand-thrown. Each elegant piece has it's own unique quality and concentric spiral from the potters wheel... quite different to the cast pieces from pottery cafes.
I will also bring a large range of colours (underglazes) and pottery brushes for you to use.
You supply the venue, tables, chairs, and refreshments.
Your finished work is carefully packaged safe and sound before I transport it back to my studio. There it is fired in the kiln to 'set' the underglaze. It is then glazed with a glossy transparent glaze before the high firing to 1150C.
You will have your pieces safely delivered back to you within two weeks.
Price: £100 setup, plus £15 for each piece of pottery used.
This price is 'all in' - glazing, firing, delivery is all included.
